And the race is on towards summer! Be sure you join us for our Summer Scrap Scrapbooking Challenge – 8 weeks of projects designed to help you complete pages this summer.
Grab that Double Rick Rack Border Maker Cartridge (or another thin chain-style BMC) and create this layered effect by punching multiple papers and stacking the borders. The new Stardust White Cardstock from Creative Memories adds an entire new option for popping the colors on your layout! It has tiny flecks which accent the colors in your paper and reduces the starkness of plain white. Watch the video and download the handout for step by step instructions.
Adding Embellishment
The open space between the borders offers a landing spot for a laser border, border sticker, or other embellishment. It can even be a great spot for a title using ABC/123 sticker letters. For the top right corner, if your collection doesn’t offer a journal box or embellishment to create a statement corner, add in some rick rack scraps and shape punches to layer in the color.
Meggan takes the binder clips to the 12″ Decorative Trimmer to create this fresh new technique. Grab your repositionable tape, watch the video, and download the handout for step by step instructions.
