We are halfway through summer – and we are happy to see so many of you keeping up with your page creations! This session highlighted using circles and half circles in your layouts.

Meggan created a fun page using strips of paper and the Circle Custom Cutting System that highlights four featured photos. Miss Kitty did a great job of cooperating for the photo shoot. An additional small circle journaling box adds to the whimsy of this layout.

Tessa mimicked a decorative cardstock paper from old CM using the Circle Punch to create this postage stamp effect for her layout. Watch the video for alternative edge options if you don’t have the Circle Punch.

Adding Embellishment

Cluster your photos then use the open space around them for embellishment clusters. It can be fun to pick through old and new stickers to combine themes. In Tessa’s layout, she used ball and star stickers from the very old Toddler & Trinkets sticker pack, the strip of grass from Variety sticker pack, the bee from Spring & Summer Sprinkle sticker pack, and the title stickers from Summer Break stickers.

Essential Scrapbooking Tools

Having a 12″ Trimmer is a must-have for scrapbooking. Here is a video how to use it plus one from Meggan about using binder clips to cut out a frame. We also love the Creative Memories Border Maker System. Shopping links are the bottom of the post.
