We love all of you!

Creating a cluster of shapes cut with the Creative Memories Custom Cutting System can add a nice accent to your layout. Gemstone CCS Hearts are shown along with the Hexagon from the Oval/Pentagon/Hexagon set and the smaller hexagon from the Gemstone CCS set. Circles, Ovals or Rectangles can all be used. If using one of those, choose a small icon punch to accent your layout if you don’t want to have even smaller circles/ovals/rectangles.

Create a Folded Corner

A quick score allows for an easy fold. Create a cluster of embellishments peeking out from the pocket.

Cutting photos into shapes is a very old-school technique, back from the days of trace & cut templates. To avoid a dated design, be intentional about using the shape as part of the design and don’t just plop a random cut photo onto a layout. Stick to one shape and leave the rest of the photos cut as squares or rectangles. Cluster them in one corner.

Having a 12″ Trimmer is a must-have for scrapbooking. Here is a video how to use it plus one from Meggan about using binder clips to cut out a frame. We also love the Creative Memories Border Maker System. Shopping links are the bottom of the post.
